Cut a Rock Power and Anvils

Checked

Power controls how effectively your miner breaks rocks and punches through deeper floors, and the AFK training area allows characters to build this stat over time at specialized anvil stations. The Roblox store lists four distinct anvil game passes: the 25x Anvil for 199 Robux, the 50x Anvil for 299 Robux, the 100x Anvil for 399 Robux, and the 200x Anvil for 499 Robux. Each pass permanently unlocks its named station and bypasses the Index requirement associated with that anvil tier. The 200x Anvil pass explicitly lets players train without completing 24 Index entries. The pass provides an immediate skip; players do not need 24 entries to purchase it. Our read is that free players should work through the Index milestones to unlock anvils naturally, while players spending Robux should jump straight to the 200x Anvil pass because intermediate tiers offer far lower multipliers per Robux spent.

What Power does and how training works

The official game listing summarizes the core progression loop in two direct lines: Train on anvils to gain Power! and Collect stronger pickaxes and reach deeper floors!. In the beginner guide video, Power appears on the bottom HUD next to the pickaxe icon, displaying progressing values such as 540, 608, 709, 729, and 919 as the session advances.

When standing at an anvil in the AFK area, your character swings their tool to accumulate Power over time. The multiplier listed on the station scales your training rate based on your equipped pickaxe. It does not grant a flat lump sum of Power upon purchase. Equipping a higher-tier pickaxe raises the foundation that these multipliers amplify. However, no public source publishes the exact formulas for swing rates, baseline ticks, or Power gained per minute, so we do not list fabricated efficiency metrics.

Anvil passes, multipliers, and store pricing

Four game passes exist for anvil training, totaling 1,396 Robux if purchased together. Every pass is sold by the developer group Duality Works with no promotional discounts listed.

Anvil Pass Price (Robux) Multiplier Official Requirement Note
25x Anvil 199 25x training speed Bypasses the anvil's Index requirement
50x Anvil 299 50x training speed Bypasses the anvil's Index requirement
100x Anvil 399 100x training speed Bypasses the anvil's Index requirement
200x Anvil 499 200x training speed Without completing 24 Index entries

All four passes grant permanent access to their respective stations in the AFK training area. The product descriptions specify that access remains available when returning to the game in subsequent sessions. The official store listing does not outline refund terms or trade options, meaning each transaction should be considered final once completed on Roblox.

Understanding the 24 Index entry requirement

A common misconception surrounds the 200x Anvil pass due to its store text: Gain Power using its 200x training multiplier without completing 24 Index entries. This phrasing establishes that completing 24 Index entries is the natural requirement to access the 200x station through regular gameplay.

Purchasing the 499 Robux pass allows a player to bypass that 24-entry prerequisite immediately. It is not an eligibility hurdle that blocks you from buying the pass until you log 24 discoveries. If you already plan to log rare materials and complete your collection as explained in the Index and auras guide, you can earn access to the top station without spending real money. For players with limited playtime or those prioritizing fast progression, the pass provides an immediate shortcut around that collection milestone.

Evaluating which anvil pass to buy

Because anvil multipliers scale training gain rates instead of delivering instant stat increases, their utility depends on how much time your character spends training in the AFK area.

Our read of the store tiers suggests three distinct purchasing stances:

Players who avoid store spending can focus on cutting rocks and filling the Index. Reaching 24 documented entries unlocks the top anvil station through normal gameplay.

Players intending to spend Robux should consider purchasing the 200x Anvil pass directly at 499 Robux. The 25x station costs 199 Robux for one-eighth of the training multiplier, making intermediate purchases inefficient. Skipping the lower tiers avoids spending currency on stations that become obsolete.

The 25x, 50x, and 100x passes cost 199, 299, and 399 Robux while providing slower training cycles than the top tier. Players evaluating the broader catalog of game passes will find that buying multiple intermediate anvil tiers provides poor value compared to securing a single top station.

Before committing funds to training upgrades, compare anvil passes against general speed and currency boosters using the Robux budget planner. Prioritize pickaxe upgrades alongside anvil access so your multiplier works against the highest possible base damage values.
