Cut a Rock Wiki & Companion

Cut a Rock is Duality Works' rock-mining incremental: break rocks in a room, put them on a cutter, collect the cut stone and sell it. This site keeps the shop's own prices and the room drop boards in one place, so you can check a number before you spend Robux on it.

Codes: no strings, only tickets

How ticket codes work

You searched for a code to paste.

  • Universal codes

    0 confirmed

The three sites that cover this game all say the same thing: there is no permanent code list.

  • The codes that exist

    Ticket numbers

Pick a ticket off the floor, type the number in the ticket box, and spend it inside five minutes.

  • Who can use it

    One player, one server

Tickets are shared with the server, so someone else can take it first.

Core loop

One loop, four moves

Everything in the game is a multiplier on this loop. Learn the order once and the upgrade choices get obvious.

  1. Break rocks in the room

Each room has a fixed rock pool with its own percentages on the floor board. Fill the three backpack slots before you walk back.

    See the room drop rates
  2. Put the rock on a cutter

The stone sits on the machine with a countdown over it. The counters we could read showed 12s, 21s and 24s.

    How cutters and collect work
  3. Collect the cut stone

When the machine finishes, the screen shows Cutting complete! and the machine offers Ready! (E). Collecting is a separate step from cutting.

    The collect step
  4. Sell, then upgrade

The sell stand opens a panel with Sell All and Click stones to select. The upgrade stand sits next to it.

Three short answers before you open a full page.

You came for codes

Every site says Cut a Rock codes, and you want a string to paste.

There is no universal code
The codes in this game are ticket numbers you pick up off the floor, and they expire in five minutes.
Rewards are not published
The sites that describe tickets say Power, cash and boosts, and none of them gives a number.
The honest codes answer

You have your first cash

The sell stand gave you money and you do not want to waste it.

Cutter before pickaxe
A cutter change affects every rock you will ever carry; a pickaxe change affects only the next one.
The locked 100$ passage
It is the first cash gate we could read in the video, and it costs less than the 1K$ gate behind it.
The upgrade order

You are about to buy Robux

The shop has 79-Robux boosts, a 249 bundle and four anvil passes.

Tick what you already own
The planner refuses to sell you a bundle for parts you already have.
The four 2x boosts cost 79 each
Money, Machine Speed, AFK Speed and Power. The bundle at 249 is cheaper than all four separately.

Walkthrough

The first hour, in order

Four moves that get a new save from spawn to a paid passage.

Full first-hour guide
  1. Fill three slots before you walk back

The backpack bar reads 0/3 and then 3/3. Walking a single rock back is the most common way to waste the first ten minutes.

    Backpack and rock choice
  2. Load the cutter, then do something else

The countdown runs while you mine the next rock. Standing and watching it is free time you are throwing away.

    Cutter timing
  3. Collect before you load again

Cutting complete! means the stone is finished, not collected. It comes back to you at Ready! (E).

    The collect step
  4. Sell, then pay the 100$ passage

The first cash gate we could read costs 100$, and the one behind it costs 1K$. Both are cheaper than buying a pickaxe for Robux at this stage.
